Integrals of polylogarithmic functions, recurrence relations, and associated Euler sums

چکیده
We show that integrals of the form ∫ 1 0 xLip(x)Liq(x)dx (m ≥ −2, p, q ≥ 1) and ∫ 1 0 log(x)Lip(x)Liq(x) x dx (p, q, r ≥ 1) satisfy certain recurrence relations which allow us to write them in terms of Euler sums. From this we prove that, in the first case for all m, p, q and in the second case when p+ q+ r is even, these integrals are reducible to zeta values. In the case of odd p+q+r, we combine the known results for Euler sums with the information obtained from the problem in this form to give an estimate on the number of new constants which are needed to express the above integrals for a given weight p + q + r. The proofs are constructive, giving a method for the evaluation of these and other similar integrals, and we present a selection of explicit evaluations in the last section.

Advanced Computer Algebra Algorithms for the Expansion of Feynman Integrals
Two-point Feynman parameter integrals, with at most one mass and containing local operator insertions in 4+ ε-dimensional Minkowski space, can be transformed to multi-integrals or multisums over hyperexponential and/or hypergeometric functions depending on a discrete parameter n. Given such a specific representation, we utilize an enhanced version of the multivariate Almkvist–Zeilberger algorit...
متن کاملCertain Sums Involving Inverses of Binomial Coefficients and Some Integrals
In this paper, we are concerned with sums involving inverses of binomial coefficients. We study certain sums involving reciprocals of binomial coefficients by using some integrals. Some recurrence relations related to inverses of binomial coefficients are obtained. In addition, we give the approximate values of certain sums involving the inverses of binomial coefficients.

This talk and papers concern sums of the type (a; b; c) := 1 X x=1 x 1 X y=1 y 1 X z=1 1 xaybzc ; and their n-variable analogues and polylogarithmic extensions. For which integers a; b; c are these sums reducible: expressible in terms of the simpler series (a; b) := 1 X x=1 x 1 X y=1 1 xayb and (a) := 1 X x=1 1 xa ? Sums of this type are (triple, double or single) Euler sums or Multi-dimensiona...
متن کاملA Quantum Field Theoretical Representation of Euler-Zagier Sums
We establish a novel representation of arbitrary Euler-Zagier sums in terms of weighted vacuum graphs. This representation uses a toy quantum field theory with infinitely many propagators and interaction vertices. The propagators involve Bernoulli polynomials and Clausen functions to arbitrary orders. The Feynman integrals of this model can be decomposed in terms of a vertex algebra whose struc...
متن کاملTwisted Dedekind Type Sums Associated with Barnes’ Type Multiple Frobenius-Euler l-Functions
The aim of this paper is to construct new Dedekind type sums. We construct generating functions of Barnes’ type multiple FrobeniusEuler numbers and polynomials. By applying Mellin transformation to these functions, we define Barnes’ type multiple l-functions, which interpolate Frobenius-Euler numbers at negative integers. By using generalizations of the Frobenius-Euler functions, we define gene...
